Supplied with continuous lengths seal
Rubber Seals
The two rubber seals run beneath both wings of the aluminium section(s) creating a tight seal when the threshold is secured to the floor. A watertight seal is formed when the screws are tightened. This stops water from coming in under the threshold seal.
Vertical legs extend downwards from the underside of the threshold. These legs or projections make contact with the floor when the threshold is compressed.
The vertical legs may serve to disperse pressure on the threshold seals and thereby prevent or inhibit the over-compression of the two bottom seals.
Continous seals for all lengths
The aluminium threshold may be joined together to suit the width of the opening to which it is to be fitted. Different lengths of threshold may be butted together but continuous lengths of top and bottom seal ensure a watertight seal.
The threshold seal installation steps
- Measure the aperture and cut the threshold and seals to size
- Positioning the threshold ramp plate between the jambs of the doorway
- Marking and drilling screw holes onto the floor and
- Driving the screws into the floor thereby compressing the bottom seals until the lower edges of the spacer edges contact the floor.

Weather Stop has been designed to form an excellent seal between the garage door and the floor. The floor seal will prevent unwanted WATER seeping in under the gap of your garage door. The Weather Stop floor seal will prevent, rain, snow, leaves, dust and dirt being pushed under your garage door by the wind!
Suitable for: Up and over, Side hinged, Roller and Sectional garage doors
Dimensions and Lengths: Weather Stop is 85mm wide x 15mm deep and is available in 8 different lengths to suit all opening sizes - please select your required size.
The Thin Yellow Line: Weather Stop has been designed with a solid yellow rubber line at the top of the hump. The Yellow Line ensures that the Weather Stop floor seal is highly visible for people to step over when entering and exiting the garage. The yellow line is a permanent solid rubber infill which will not come off when driven over.
Serrated Grooved Base: The base of the Weather Stop has been precisely designed with a serrated grooved base. This creates an ideal surface for the sealant, providing excellent adhesion when the rubber Weather Stop is bonded to a concrete floor.
Sealant/Adhesive: Soudaflex 40 FC which is supplied in the kit is a high quality one component polyurethane sealant for a wide range of sealing and bonding applications. Soudaflex 40 FC has great bonding strength to fix the Weather Stop rubber floor seal to a concrete floor. One 310ml cartridge is sufficient to glue up to a (6188mm) 20ft 3ins length Weather Stop floor seal.
Please note: The Weather Stop Kit includes one* 310ml cartridge of Soudaflex 40 FC BLACK sealant, but excludes cardridge gun (please select this option if required).

Weather Stop Garage Door Top Seal

Weather Stop Garage Door Top Seal Kit includes:

The Weather Stop Top Seal is constructed from ridged and flexible high quality thermoplastic material that is both environmentally friendly and recyclable. The ridged top section allows the product to be attached to the head of the frame without bowing. The flexible section will allow the product to bend and flex when the garage door is closed and opened. The material used for the Garage Door Top Seal contains a UV stabilizer to inhibit the damaging effects of bright sunlight.

 The gap between a garage door and garage frame is usually 10mm / 20mm (approximately). This gap needs to be sealed to eliminate moist air being drawn into the garage. The Weather Stop Garage Door Top Seal is designed to seal gaps of up to 40mm (about 1½ inches). The top of the garage door will rest against the top seal when the garage door is closed, creating a watertight seal preventing rain, leaves, dust and debris and draughts from being blown in the top of the garage. When the garage door is opened the top seal is designed to flex.
Timber beading or large UPVC fitted to the top of the frame does not create a seal. The Weather Stop Top Seal is designed specifically to provide a seal between the top of the garage door and the door frame.
The Weather Stop Top Seal effectively blocks moist air being drawn into the garage at the top of the door.
The Top Seal will help to keep the garage clean and dry and protect equipment and tools from the damaging effects of condensation (i.e. rust).
The Weather Stop Top Seal Kit includes 10 number 8 x 3/4" (4mm x 20mm) Zinc Plated Twinthread Roundhead Phillips wood screw screws and 10 number bright zinc Metric Penny Washers BZP M5 x 20.
